Sorting veneer to different moisture grades at the peeling line is essential for optimized drying capacity. Without moisture sorting all veneers are dried with the same drying conditions leading to over drying causing poor quality.
To increase drying capacity and improve veneer quality, sorting the veneer in two or three different moisture grades is the answer. Moisture sorting at the peeling line is one of the most effective ways to improve production efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and improve veneer quality.
