Raute's Log Grading Line R7 sorts incoming logs based on key characteristics such as length, diameter, and shape, helping ensure that each log is directed to the most suitable production process.
Accurate grading supports efficient raw material utilization throughout production. By classifying logs according to their physical properties, downstream processes can be optimized for both performance and product quality. For example, process parameters such as soaking can be adjusted according to log dimensions to support consistent production conditions.
The grading line automatically identifies and separates logs that are not suitable for veneer production, including logs containing metal, significant cracks, or other defects. Accepted logs are then routed either to storage or directly to the next production stage.
Designed to support continuous material flow from log reception to production, the Log Grading Line R7 helps maintain efficient woodyard operations and a reliable supply of raw material to the mill. This contributes to smooth production, efficient resource utilization, and optimized material flow throughout the process.
