LVL Lay-up and Pressing Line R5

Raute's LVL Lay-up and Pressing Line R5 is a standardized solution for efficient LVL production. Delivered together with the LVL Billet Handling Line R5, it provides a practical and cost-effective starting point for LVL manufacturing.

The solution is well suited for plywood producers looking to expand their product offering as well as companies entering the LVL market. It enables the production of the most common LVL products required by the market while keeping the process straightforward and efficient.

Built with standardized components, the R5 Series offers a shorter delivery and commissioning process, simplified operation, and a lower investment compared to larger-scale production lines. At the same time, it utilizes the same proven lay-up and pressing technology as Raute's R7 Series.

Designed for lower production capacities, the line can manufacture parallel-ply LVL-P using the most common raw materials. The solution supports fixed veneer lengths of up to 14 meters and has been optimized to reduce floor space requirements by up to 40% compared to larger production concepts. The highly automated process requires only three operators during production.

The standardized configuration provides a ready-to-use solution for efficient production of a single LVL product type, helping producers enter the market with a reliable process and a predictable investment.
