Lines & Machines
Lines
There is always a "fit-to-your-need" line from Raute's own offering for any and all production processes starting from log handling, running through veneer production to plywood, LVL, or solid wood panels.
Machines
The core of production lines is made of machines. Many of Raute’s machines can be installed into existing lines as modernizations, also to other brand but Raute lines.
Analyzers
Making the most out of your raw material is made possible by modern analyzing systems. Intelligent analyzers make the right decisions at right time. Raute offers a wide variety of different types of analyzers for veneer, plywood, LVL, and lumber production.
Future-proof your mill.
Raute offers services worldwide to maintain existing veneer, plywood, and LVL production machinery and to improve the production.
Raute's Board of Directors has approved a merger plan according to which the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Hiottu Oy will be merged into Raute Corporation.
The merger is expected to take place on 31 December, 2024.
Raute Corporation acquired 80 percent of the shares of Hiottu Oy in 2020 and redeemed the remaining 20 percent in 2023. Hiottu Oy has brought strong digitalization expertise to Raute, especially in machine vision and AI solutions. The objective of the merger is to simplify the Group structure to increase business efficiency.
Hiottu, founded in 2005, specializes in software development for industrial applications. The company is located in Oulu, Finland, and has gained a reputation for providing advanced solutions in areas like machine vision, industrial software, and web programming. Hiottu’s services are particularly tailored to meet the needs of industrial clients, helping them optimize production processes, enhance safety, and improve quality control.
“Hiottu has been a valuable partner of our Analyzers business unit for some time, and this merger is a natural progression for us. We’re thrilled to now offer our customers even more robust software and machine vision solutions, thanks to the combined strengths of Raute and Hiottu experts,” says Markus Sirviö, EVP Analyzers of Raute.
Satu Lapinlampi, CEO of Hiottu, adds, “This merger opens up exciting new opportunities to better serve our customers and expand our reach. While Hiottu Studio and our various services will be under the Raute brand in the future, the essence of our ‘dazzling code’ remains at the heart of everything we do. We look forward to continuing to innovate and support our customers under the Raute umbrella.”
