Plywood lay-up

In lay-up, face veneers, long core veneers and cross core veneers are combined into plywood. Each veneer sheet is in a 90 degree angle compared to the next one – meaning that the grain direction varies 90 degrees in every layer (ply).

Glue is spread between every layer to make the veneer sheets stay together.
