Lines
There is always a "fit-to-your-need" line from Raute's own offering for any and all production processes starting from log handling, running through veneer production to plywood, LVL, or solid wood panels.
Machines
The core of production lines is made of machines. Many of Raute’s machines can be installed into existing lines as modernizations, also to other brand but Raute lines.

The story of AmberBirch began in an interesting way about ten years ago, when Raute’s Sales Manager Antero Kuntonen proposed the business idea of a Mill to Raimonds Spuls-Vilcans, a member of the board of AmberBirch.
The idea of selling high quality veneer instead of round logs from Latvia became reality and, today, the AmberBirch Mill in Latvia has their first year of operation behind them, and employs 65 people.

"More than a half of the territory of Latvia is covered by forests – it is 3.38 million ha of land. Forests keep expanding every year, while the amounts of wood resources accumulated in the forest grow three times faster than the forest areas. This proves a purposeful forest management in our country and the existence of significant potential of wood processing industry. Observing this underutilized potential, AmberStone Group has founded a subsidiary AmberBirch, SIA, constituting one of the largest of the group’s investments. With the thought of welfare of the people in the regions of Latvia and aiming to create more jobs not only in wood processing, but also in other related industries, we – AmberBirch, SIA – decided to build a new veneer plant in Krustpils municipality. The plant is operating since the summer of 2019. Our aim is to become one of the largest companies in Krustpils municipality and a major processed wood product exporter. We never stop at what we achieved, so we will constantly keep increasing the production capacity and diversity of our production. Our latest challenge we have committed to is to build a new plywood plant to expand and diversify the range of our products."
