Challenge

Before partnering with Raute, AmberBirch faced several critical challenges in setting up a greenfield mill and achieving competitive production standards.     AmberBirch needed a solution that could handle birch, aspen, and alder logs of smaller diameters without compromising veneer quality.

    Accuracy was essential for meeting strict specifications in furniture-grade plywood, with thicknesses ranging from 1.40 mm to 2.20 mm.
